Home Depot has become one of the largest home improvement places to shop. The Home Depot first started in 1978 by 4 men, Arthur Blank, Ron Brill, Bernie Marcus and Pat Farrah. The initial idea of Home Depot was to become the largest warehouse for home improvement products. By 1979, Home Depot has built its first two locations in Atlanta, Georgia.

Soon after the group opened two more stores and soon more stores opened all across the United States but they did not stop there, there are currently Home Depot stores in almost every city in every state as well as Washington DC, United States Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Canada, Mexico and even China.

There probably isn’t a person in the United States who has never been in a Home Depot. They have everything from water heaters, pipe insulation, copper fittings, sump pumps, tools, fixtures and season items such as pipe heat tape, boiler anti-freeze and even kerosene heaters.

If you are looking to do major or even minor repairs or some DIY plumbing repair, Home Depot is the place to find what you need. They carry the best name brands in the business; you can find everything from General Electric, Husky, Thomasville, Moen and BEHR Paint. Not only does Home Depot have everything you need and more but they have a knowledgeable staff who can help you find any part you need or answer just about any question that you may have.

Another great feature of the Home Depot is that they have a fully functional website. There is nothing that you can’t find for any home improvement project on the website. They have a category for everything such as Bath, Doors and Windows, Kitchen, Appliances, toilets and vintage bathtubs. You can plan a bathroom renovation from the floor to the paint and window treatments right from your own home.

You can see everything right there at your fingertips, you can even see the price and whether or not the items are in stock at your local Home Depot. Next time you need to plan a renovation or even perform a small plumbing repair in your home, check out the Home Depot they are there to help you. There is a reason why they are the largest home improvement store in the United States.
