The CGs has an energy efficient rating of 84% all due to the cast iron sectional boiler. To ensure efficiency, the boiler is assembled with tie rods and they have a high temp silicone sealant that is applied to create a permanent gas tight seal. The boiler is also water tight with Elastomer, which is used to seal up the rings between the sections in the boiler so that nothing escapes. All of the energy is kept inside the boiler. The CGs comes with a high quality, high-grade stainless steel burner. The burners contribute to a quieter ignition, a prolonged life of the boiler and better combustion.
